Are you already in QBO or Xero but you’ve let your books fall behind? Or maybe you’re so far behind and made some changes that you’re not even sure if it’s correct anymore? After a thorough diagnostic (see above) of your accounting software, we will get your books cleaned up and caught up.

  • Categorize all incoming and outgoing transactions and reconcile attached business accounts to the current period end
  • Include any business transactions made on personal accounts, if provided by the client
  • Review and update your existing Chart of Accounts
  • Generate and provide updated financial reports for the time period with a recap highlighting key figures and wins!

Nope! We leave that complicated stuff to accountants that specialize in it, and even have a handful of amazing CPAs/tax pros we refer clients to. AND if you are one of our monthly DFY bookkeeping clients, we will work in collaboration with your tax pro all year long to ensure a smooth tax season and answer any questions that may come up.

Do you prepare and file taxes or advise on tax strategies?

We totally get it, letting someone into the financial side of your business is a BIG DEAL and not one we take lightly. There are two big reasons clients choose to work with us…

What sets PSB apart from any other bookkeeping companies?

I have over 10 years of bookkeeping experience...

working with A-List celebrities, high networth individuals, and business owners of all kinds. There aren’t many bookkeeping situations I haven’t dealt with or come across. All of this experience has made me the go-to person to get your books handled. All of my team members are also skilled at what they do and go through detailed training before handling a client's books.

Our passion for your business is unmatched.

I’m a business owner myself, so I understand what you’re going through, what questions you may have, and which systems you may be using. I’m sure I use a lot of the same ones in my business as well. I understand the ups and downs of owning a business, and this makes me empathetic and just as passionate about your business as you are! When I left my corporate CPA job, I knew I wanted to work with aligned clients and small business owners, so I could empower them to scale more by taking these tasks off their plates and providing financial clarity. It’s something I’m honored to do every day!
We request online access to all business bank accounts, credit cards, payment processors, and invoicing systems (if separate). Most banks and companies allow for ready-only accountant access so that you can rest assured we won’t be able to make any changes in your accounts - just access what we need to do our job well! During our discovery or onboarding call, we will go over how to grant that access and what access you are actually providing. All of your information will be secure.

What do you need from me to handle my books?

Once your books are caught up, they will be maintained monthly. Each month we will go in and categorize transactions. If there are any questions regarding transactions we will send them to you in a spreadsheet via email for clarification. We then reconcile the accounts and provide you with your monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet (and celebrate your financial wins with you, of course!).

What does the monthly bookkeeping process look like?

Yes! There is not much we haven’t seen when it comes to messy books. You are in the right place and doing the right thing by reaching out for help. I intentionally create a safe space for my clients (thanks to my Masters in Counseling!) to talk about money, understand their finances, and become the empowered CEO I know they are! I didn’t see bookkeeping in my future, but here I am! I left my 9-5 job with an accounting firm in early 2023 to go all-in on running my business!

My days are spent with my kiddos - either at the beach or park, watching the newest Disney movie for the thousandth time that day/month/year, and then at the end of the day, if we are lucky (and not too tired), I get a date night with my husband.   • User friendly for the non-accountant. No complicated accounting jargon here - this is great for everyone from the new business owner wanting to understand their system, to the established company who needs to invoice through Xero, track products and services, integrate payroll, and pay bills.
  • Affordable subscription fees for the small business owner that aren’t raised every other month. Special partner-only plans start at just $10 per month (PSB monthly bookkeeping clients get VIP access to this lower rate!)
  • Seamless compatibility with most 3rd party payment processors such as Square, PayPal and Stripe. Other accounting softwares make this extremely difficult, which often leads to over- or under-reporting income and missing expenses or tax deductions.
